The Spice Bazaar, one of the most active places in istanbul, was built in the 1660s as part of the New Mosque complex. It is one of the oldest covered bazaars of istanbul. The bazaar has been called the Egyptian Bazaar because it sells spices, herbs and similar products from Egypt.

In the Egyptian Bazaar, where herbal medicines in accordance with the old prescriptions were prepared and sold during the Ottoman period, today there are traditional flavors such as spices, herbal teas, dried nuts, dried fruit, fruit and delight, as well as jewelery, fabric, basket and various gift items.

What to buy from the Spice Bazaar
